Whether its a change of career, change of lifestyle or just newfound determination, there are copious reasons why someone may choose to get a degree later in life. For me it was finally gaining focus.

I have a passion for programming having written my first programme on my Commodore 64 in the 80’s. But although I managed to get to university I was never able to finish my first year.

Now registered on the OU’s Open Degree I have been able to gather all those miscellaneous past credits together and move on to my second year. I will look at preparing for study, managing study and all already busy life and how to get yourself back into study.
